- Validity of Estimate This estimate is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance. Prices and availability of materials are subject to change without notice.
- Scope of Work The estimate includes only the work and materials specified in the attached documentation. Any additional work or materials required that are not listed in the estimate will incur additional charges.
- Payment Schedule & Terms
- Deposit: Payment to schedule the work / workshop for manufacturing to start.
- Commencement: Payment on the day onsite work starts.
- Midway: Payment upon reaching a mutually acceptable midway point of onsite works.
- Final: Payment on the day the works complete and signed off
- Scheduling and Access Scheduling of work will be coordinated with the client after the acceptance of the estimate and receipt of the deposit. The client must ensure access to the property and the area where the work is to be performed during normal working hours.
- Client Responsibilities The client is responsible for ensuring that all necessary permissions, consents, and approvals are obtained before work begins. The client must inform us of any known hazards or special requirements related to the property or the work area. The client is responsible for ensuring a valid parking permit is obtained, wherever possible and for the duration of works.
- Warranties and Guarantees We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 36 months from the completion date for our refurbishment service and 15yrs from the completion date for replacement windows. Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials used.
- Liability We carry liability insurance for all work performed. We are not responsible for any damage to property that is not related to the work performed or caused by pre-existing conditions.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling Cancellations must be made in writing no later than 48 hours from estimate acceptance to avoid a cancellation fee of 10% of the total estimate. Rescheduling requests should be made no later than 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
- Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from this estimate, or the work performed will be resolved through mediation or arbitration before any legal action is taken.

10. Additional Damage Clause
During our refurbishment, restoration, or replacement service, we may uncover additional or worse damage to the window box frame, window box sill, or window frames themselves. This type of damage can only be fully assessed once the windows have been removed from their frame and in rare cases, additional replacement parts may be required where repair is not possible. These additional works will be discussed, and the additional cost agreed upon in advance, with the cost added to the final invoice.
11. Pre-Commencement Survey for Replacement Windows
Before work commences on replacement windows, an on-site measurement survey is required. This survey is necessary to place the order with the workshop, after the deposit has been paid and for manufacturing the replacement windows.
12. VAT
E&OE All prices quoted are fully inclusive of VAT for all private clients / individuals. Commercial construction company estimates are net value in accordance with the latest HMRC reverse rate VAT rules and regulations.
